Our client is now hiring a Chief Engineer for their brand new hotel in Torrance.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintains hotel in accordance with maintenance schedule by assigning and supervising maintenance staff
- Ensures that equipment is operated effectively and efficiently by directing and supervising the operation of all running equipment
- Maintains a supply inventory necessary for optimal operating efficiency by initiating purchasing orders for maintenance supplies, machinery, equipment, parts and services as required
- Ensures that all the applicable requirements are being complied with by maintaining contact with vendors and local authorities
Requirements include:
- Management experience in maintenance/construction field
- Engineering or Mechanical background preferred
- Bilingual in English and Japanese preferred, but not necessary
- Work hours 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (may work overtime and/or on weekends)
- Must be able to commute to both hotels in Torrance and Downtown LA
