Teruko Weinberg To Star On Japanese Radio TJS
TWI President Teruko Weinberg is scheduled to appear on Sparkle, which is a program on a 24 hour Japanese Radio Station called TJS that is broadcast in Southern California. The recording took place on February 1st in a studio in Torrance.
Sparkle is an interview program that is based on the concept of “Supporting Sparkling (Enthusiastic And Vivacious) Women”. When DJ Saeki asked Teruko, “What made you start working for a placement company?” Teruko answered, “I came to America as a housewife but because my husband passed away, I thought of becoming a computer programmer and started studying for that. Then, I needed to find a job and the recruiting company that I registered with hired me. That is how I got started in this business.” An unexpected circumstance was revealed.
In addition, she talked about how some people think that her hobby is her job because she just doesn’t feel the burden of busily running around day after day. Actually, it’s the contrary. She is full of positive attitude and because there is only one life to live, she wants to enjoy her life without having any regrets. She also spoke of her resolution of powering up for TWI’s 15th anniversary.
This interview will be broadcast on Thursday February 15 from 9:30PM. To listen in, a special radio equipped to receive the TJS broadcast signal is necessary but after the airing, you can also click on the following page to hear her talk.
