Teruko Weinberg

President

After working as a representative for a large Japanese employment agency in the United States, Teruko Weinberg parted ways in 1994 to establish the TWI Group. Leveraging her vast corporate network filled with many years of industry experience, and by continuing to meticulously consult and place job seekers, she has been successful in nurturing TWI into a preeminent employment agency known nationally for providing Japanese/English bilingual personnel as well as placing such bilingual job seekers.

Not only does she travel around the world as the representative of the company, she has enthusiastically performed volunteer services for non-profit organizations such as for Japanese company associations, women business owner organizations, and Aichi Club (Kenjinkai – a gathering for people from Aichi Prefecture). Furthermore, as a contributor to various columns in human resources related issues, she has been active in the media and has played a symbolic role as a woman business owner that instills energy into the Los Angeles Japanese community.

At the time when she established her business, she appeared in the media using the catch phrase, “Teruko loves people”. The spirit of placing importance on personnel is presently inherited by all of her staff. Being in its 14th year in business, she aims to further expand in the next 10 years and as someone who steadily realizes business ideas, Teruko Weinberg is a person that “develops ideas” as well as “puts into practice what she preaches”.
