After working as a representative for a large Japanese
employment agency in the United States, Teruko Weinberg
parted ways in 1994 to establish the TWI Group. Leveraging
her vast corporate network filled with many years of industry
experience, and by continuing to meticulously consult
and place job seekers, she has been successful in nurturing
TWI into a preeminent employment agency known nationally
for providing Japanese/English bilingual personnel as
well as placing such bilingual job seekers.
Not only does she travel around the world as the representative
of the company, she has enthusiastically performed volunteer
services for non-profit organizations such as for Japanese
company associations, women business owner organizations,
and Aichi Club (Kenjinkai – a gathering for people
from Aichi Prefecture). Furthermore, as a contributor
to various columns in human resources related issues,
she has been active in the media and has played a symbolic
role as a woman business owner that instills energy into
the Los Angeles Japanese community.
At the time when she established her business, she appeared
in the media using the catch phrase, “Teruko loves
people”. The spirit of placing importance on
personnel is presently inherited by all of her staff.
Being in its 14th year in business, she aims to
further expand in the next 10 years and as someone
who steadily realizes business ideas, Teruko Weinberg
is a person that “develops
ideas” as well as “puts into practice what
she preaches”.

Manager Los Angeles Branch
Responsibilities:
Tomoko
juggles a multitude of tasks and functions at TWI. She
oversees all direct-hire and temporary accounts while
recruiting, interviewing, and counseling applicants. In
addition to these core functions, Tomoko also directs
special projects and supervises a team of 5 staff members.
She assists with the direction of company operations to
ensure processes are being executed with precision so
that TWI?fs resources and talent are fully utilized.
International HR Consultant
Yuhko
was born and raised in Nagoya, Japan. At age 18, she
moved to the U.S. to attend university. She received
her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Southern
California in Los Angeles, California. Upon graduation
in 1992, she joined a major international electronics
company in their International HR Division and has
been involved with Japanese expatriate matters for 15
years. Her expertise is handling expatriate?fs HR policies,
immigration, benefit/compensation, international tax
issues, etc. She has recently joined TWI and is looking
forward to servicing our new clients.

Accounting Manager
Wendy
Wu has many years of experience in accounting. Prior to
Joining the TWI, she had worked in employment industry
as well as other industries. She believes that the greatest
attribute of the company is its upward mobile environment,
team work and strong leadership. Wendy says “ it
is a great pleasure to contribute to the continuing growth
of TWI.
